Facility assessments
A Facility Condition Assessment (abbreviated as Facility Assessment, or FCA) is a technical review of the major systems of a facility or group of facilities. FCAs involve observing and reviewing the current design, function, and operation of a facility to provide findings and recommendations so that owners can make informed decisions for maintaining, repairing, repurposing, or even purging their physical assets. We are finding more opportunities to engage in sustainability measures as part of these studies.
Facility assessments work extremely well in tandem with space inventories, which allows for direct quantification of major spaces and elements.
